Should these islands be more protected ?

Ronde Island, 100 million US $ A 2000-acre emerald gem in stunning Grenada for sale. Beautiful topography of hills and small valleys, with several large well protected bays for yacht anchorage. Collectively miles of pristine beachfront and waterfront property.

As point of discussion: These islands are fairly unique in the sense that they are uninhabited and freely reachable by the public.
Fears are, that sale of these islands would limit the public use.
Should the Government purchase these islands and how should the purchase be funded?

White island is a small island south of Carriacou. One dominating hill oversees a pristine beach made of tiny shell parts, glistening white and pink in the sun.
Brushes like seagrapes are the main vegetation here, but the center has a few palm trees. It is beloved for lazy afternoons and picknicks.
This island has been up for sale a few times in the past.

Saline and White Island
Location: Fifteen miles north - north east of Grenada and one mile south of Carriacou.

Saline has a brackish lagoon salt pond surrounded by a mangrove ecosystem.
Pyroclastic deposits indicate major volcanic activity and two volcanic plugs are present.
Shorebirds can be seen searching for crustaceans in the mud flats of the brackish lagoon and the adjacent coral reefs are unquestionably Grenada's most outstanding.

Howard, 1950 notes that the vegetation on White Island is decidedly unusual in the Lesser Antilles, and more characteristic of the Greater Antilles and Bahamas.
Notably, Tournefortia gnaphalodes, Heliotropium indicum, Heliotropium curassavicum, and Euphorbia buxifolia are common.

The adjacent waters present the largest and most diverse coral reefs in Grenada as well as outstanding opportunities for recreation and tourism from Carriacou.
The natural features have the potential to be developed for day trips of diving, nature study and scenic appreciation.
